TRAINING AND PUBLIC SPEAKING
Phonak Roger Sound Field Systems are ideal sound reinforcement systems for corporate training, meetings, and public speaking.
Roger Sound Field can be used as a PA system where the Touchscreen Mic is worn around the neck, and the audio is sent wirelessly to the Digimaster speaker where it is broadcast into the room. The Touchscreen v3 Mic can also send the audio simultaneously to connected hearing aids, allowing inclusivity for hard of hearing listeners. The Pass Around Mic is used for audience questions/other speakers, and a Boom Mic is also available. All other Mics are connected to the Digimaster speaker and hearing aids via the Touchscreen Mic. In a meeting, the Touchscreen v3 Mic may be placed in the middle of the table where it automatically enters Small Group Mode. The Mic will pick up everyones voices from around the table, and send the audio to any connected hearing aids. In the Small Group Mode the Mic will stop broadcasting to the Digimaster speaker.
With the use of the Roger Multimedia Hub, other sound sources can be connected into the network. For example a TV may be connected to the Multimedia Hub, which will then send the audio to the Touchscreen v3 Mic, which then transmits to the Digimaster speaker and to any connected hearing aids. The Roger WallPilot may be used at the room's entry point(s) to automatically connect hearing aids as wearers walk past.
The Roger Digimaster speaker can be mounted on a Wall Mount, or can be portable by mounting on the Tripod or the Floor Stand, ideal for on-site training sessions or moving amongst meeting rooms. The speaker then just needs to be plugged into a standard wall power socket to operate. All Microphones, the Neckloop, the Repeater, and the Multimedia Hub are wireless and powered by internal rechargeable batteries. Phonak hearing aids with receivers installed can be directly connected to the Touchscreen v3 Mic, whilst other brands of hearing aid use the t-coil function of the hearing aid to connect to the Roger Neckloop, which is worn by the listener. The Neckloop is wirelessly connected to the Touchscreen Mic. Receivers can be installed in any Phonak aids that do not already have receivers.
