The PHONAK ROGER PASS AROUND MIC wirelessly transmits the users voice to the Touchscreen Mic, which sends it on to the Digimaster speaker, which then broadcasts into the room. The signal will also be sent directly to any other devices that the Touchscreen Mic is connected to such as Roger Focus, hearing aids, cochlear implants, and bone anchored hearing aids.
The Pass Around Mic is designed to enhance classroom discussions and be used by both students and teachers.
- Can be used with or without the desk stand.
- Voice Activity Detection mode (VAD). The Mic will sit in standby mode, and automatically turn on when it detects a user speaking into it.
- Push-To-Talk function (PTT). When handheld, the user presses and holds the talk button while they speak. When in the desk stand, a quick press of the talk button is required to turn the Mic on and off. The Mic detects when it has been placed in the desk stand.
- When not in use, or laid on a desk, the Mic will automatically mute itslf to avoid broadcasting unwanted sound.
- If multiple Pass Around Mics are in use, the first Mic to detect speech is broadcast, and the others are muted. Any Touchscreen Mics will remain on.
- Up to 35 Roger microphones can be connected into the network.
- Rechargeable built-in battery with approximately 10 hours operating time.
